Residence Venice

The balcony is big but it is almost useless because there is not a good view and there are also many mosquitoes - even in the room there are mosquitoes. There is a hole in the room to the balcony so that everything can come inside. During our stay a bird came into our room and I had immediately to open the window so that it cant harm our 3 yrs. old son. Thanks God it flew outside very fast. There were some hairs on the towels in the bathroom but thankfully we had our own towels. Not the cleanest apartment. There is very less light in the room. For a better light open the blinds. They have also an air cleaner in the room. I suggest not to use it. My wife turned it on without reading the instructions and my son got breathing issues. Once we have found it out we turned it off immediately and took our son out of the room. My son was also fine after an hour.

My teen son and I stayed at this hotel as we toured Europe by train and auto for a month, from London to Rome. We both thought very highly of this hotel and were sorry our itinerary didn't allow for a longer stay. The hotel is in a quiet suburb within an easy walk to the train station, a short, easy, enjoyable ride to the main station in Venice, and perhaps more important after a long day of walking around Venice, a quick, easy train ride back to the hotel. Our room was very quiet and comfortable, much like a studio apartment with a kitchen and balcony. Our visit was during the summer so we were very glad the A/C worked well. The staff of the hotel was also very friendly and helpful. After our trip we agreed that it was one of our favorite hotels of many we stayed in that month. I would not hesitate to stay there again.
